Captain Edward George Godolphin Hastings was born on 17 November 1887.1 He was the son of Admiral Alexander Plantagenet Hastings and Edith Caroline Blake.1,2 He married Hon. Grisell Annabella Gem Cochrane-Baillie, daughter of Charles Wallace Alexander Napier Cochrane-Baillie, 2nd Baron Lamington and Hon. Mary Haughton Hozier, on 26 April 1922.1 He died in 1973.1

Admiral Alexander Plantagenet Hastings was born on 31 December 1843.1 He was the son of Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings and Caroline Sarah Morris.1,2 He married Edith Caroline Blake, daughter of Colonel Frederic Rodolph Blake, on 29 July 1885.1 He died on 7 December 1925 at age 81.1

Mary Haughton Hozier.1 He married Riette Neilson, daughter of D. A. Neilson, on 8 June 1922.1 He died on 20 September 1951 at age 55.1
