Lady Edith Gertrude Douglas was born on 31 March 1874.1 She was the daughter of John Sholto Douglas, 9th Marquess of Queensberry and Sibyl Montgomery.1 She married St. George William Lane Fox-Pitt, son of Lt.-Gen. Augustus Henry Fox-Pitt-Rivers and Hon. Alice Margaret Stanley, on 25 March 1899.1 She died on 20 July 1963 at age 89.1

Lt.-Col. David Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was born on 2 April 1912.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Edith Moffat.2 He married Patricia Katherine Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of Lt.-Col. Lord Herbert Andrew Montagu Douglas Scott and Marie Josephine Edwards, on 9 September 1940.1 He died on 1 March 1944 at age 31 at Anzio, ItalyG, killed in action.1
