Mary Jane Palliser was the daughter of Sir Hugh Palliser, 2nd Bt. and Mary Yates.1,2 She married, firstly, William Lockhart on 16 April 1822.3 She married, secondly, John Manly Arbuthnot Keane, 3rd Baron Keane, son of Lt.-Gen. John Keane, 1st Baron Keane and Grace Smith, on 11 May 1848.1 She died on 29 October 1881, without issue.1
She lived Milton Lockhart.4 From 16 April 1822, her married name became Lockhart. From 11 May 1848, her married name became Keane.1

Sir Hugh Palliser, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 October 1768.2 He was the son of George Robinson Walters and Mary Orfeur.3 He married Mary Yates, daughter of John Yates, on 18 January 1790.2 He died on 17 November 1813 at age 45.2
He was given the name of Hugh Walters at birth.2 His name was legally changed to Hugh Palliser.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Palliser, of The Vatch, co. Bucks [G.B., 1773] on 19 March 1796.2
