     Reverend Joseph Laxton Kitchin lived at Teignmouth, Devon, England^G.¹

     Lillian Augusta Murray was the daughter of Reverend Frederick William Murray and Kathleen Cortlandt Harrison.¹ She married Walter de Merindol Malan, son of Reverend Arthur N. Malan, on 14 March 1900.¹ She died on 12 December 1913.¹
     Her married name became Malan.

     Walter de Merindol Malan is the son of Reverend Arthur N. Malan.¹ He married Lillian Augusta Murray, daughter of Reverend Frederick William Murray and Kathleen Cortlandt Harrison, on 14 March 1900.¹

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Mordaunt Murray was born on 20 January 1852.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Edward Murray and Penelope Frances Elizabeth Pemberton Austin.¹ He married, firstly, Isabel Pemberton, daughter of Richard Laurence Pemberton, on 15 January 1895.¹ He married, secondly, Mabel Meliora Nicholson, daughter of Frederick Francis Nicholson, on 18 October 1898.¹ He died on 23 May 1920 at age 68.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was Assistant-Commandant of the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich between 1900 and 1904.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was Commandant of the Duke of York's Royal Marine School between 1907 and 1909.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1909.¹ He fought in the campaigns in Afghanistan.¹

     Isabel Pemberton was the daughter of Richard Laurence Pemberton.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Arthur Mordaunt Murray, son of Reverend George Edward Murray and Penelope Frances Elizabeth Pemberton Austin, on 15 January 1895.¹ She died on 30 June 1896.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     Richard Laurence Pemberton lived at Hawthorn Tower, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Mabel Meliora Nicholson was the daughter of Frederick Francis Nicholson.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Arthur Mordaunt Murray, son of Reverend George Edward Murray and Penelope Frances Elizabeth Pemberton Austin, on 18 October 1898.¹ She died on 24 December 1964.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     Frederick Francis Nicholson lived at Wynnstay, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Reverend Douglas Stuart Murray was born on 28 May 1853.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Edward Murray and Penelope Frances Elizabeth Pemberton Austin.¹ He married Harriet Georgina Isabel Bridgeman, daughter of Rev. Hon. George Thomas Orlando Bridgeman and Emily Mary Bagot, on 22 April 1879.¹ He died on 19 March 1920 at age 66.¹
     He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector between 1879 and 1919 at Blithfield, Staffordshire, England^G.¹
