     William Gibson, 2nd Baron Ashbourne was born on 16 December 1868 at 20 Upper Pembroke Street, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1,2 He was the son of Edward Gibson, 1st Baron Ashbourne and Frances Maria Adelaide Colles.1 He married Marianne de Monbrison, daughter of Henri Roger Conquerré de Monbrison, on 7 January 1896.1 He died on 21 January 1942 at age 73, without issue.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Ashbourne, of Ashbourne, co. Meath [I., 1885] on 22 May 1913.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Meath.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.3

     Marianne de Monbrison was the daughter of Henri Roger Conquerré de Monbrison.2 She married William Gibson, 2nd Baron Ashbourne, son of Edward Gibson, 1st Baron Ashbourne and Frances Maria Adelaide Colles, on 7 January 1896.1 She died on 17 August 1953.2
     From 7 January 1896, her married name became Gibson.1 After her marriage, Marianne de Monbrison was styled as Baroness Ashbourne on 22 May 1913.

     Reverend Frederick Auriol Murray-Gourlay, 25th of Kincraig was born on 27 November 1865.2 He was the son of Reverend Frederick William Murray and Kathleen Cortlandt Harrison.2 He married Jessie Styles, daughter of George Gaviller Styles, on 4 January 1893.2 He died on 12 February 1939 at age 73.2
     He was given the name of Frederick Auriol Murray at birth.1 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1887 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was Vicar in 1897 at Mill End, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was Vicar between 1911 and 1926 at Chigwell, Essex, England.1 He held the office of Rural Dean of Chigwell between 1919 and 1926.1 He was the Vicar between 1926 and 1935 at Stourport, Worcestershire, EnglandG.2 In 1927 his name was legally changed to Frederick Auriol Murray-Gourlay when he succeeded his aunt Susan in Kincraig.1

     From 4 January 1893, her married name became Murray. From 1927, her married name became Murray-Gourlay.1
