James Thomas Stewart-Murray, 9th Duke of Atholl was born on 18 August 1879.1 He was the son of John James Hugh Henry Stewart-Murray, 7th Duke of Atholl and Louisa Moncreiffe.1 He died on 8 May 1957 at age 77, unmarried.1
