     Geoffrey Seymour Rowley-Conwy was born on 14 September 1877.² He was the son of Conwy Grenville Hercules Rowley-Conwy and Marian Harford.¹ He married Bertha Gabrielle Cochran, daughter of Lieutenant Alexander Cochran, on 7 June 1911.² He died on 10 August 1915 at age 37 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Captain Royal in the North Lancashire Regiment.² He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.²
