     Anne Oakeley Kerr was the daughter of Major Loraine Macgregor Kerr and Ellen Beatrice Oakeley.¹ She married Edward William Atholl Murray, son of Stracey Montagu Atholl Murray and Irene Margaretta Waring, on 22 August 1959.¹ She died in 1972.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     Major Loraine Macgregor Kerr was the son of Colonel John MacGregor Kerr.² He married Ellen Beatrice Oakeley, daughter of Sir Charles John Oakeley, 5th Bt. and Emily Green, on 15 June 1922.² He died in 1957.²
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He lived at New Romney, Kent, England^G.¹

     Ellen Beatrice Oakeley was born on 16 January 1891.² She was the daughter of Sir Charles John Oakeley, 5th Bt. and Emily Green.^1,2 She married, firstly, Captain Guy William Hopton, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Edward Hopton, on 12 February 1915.² She married, secondly, Major Loraine Macgregor Kerr, son of Colonel John MacGregor Kerr, on 15 June 1922.² She died in 1967.²
     From 12 February 1915, her married name became Hopton. Her married name became Kerr.

     Sir Charles John Oakeley, 5th Bt. was born on 6 May 1862.² He was the son of Sir Charles William Atholl Oakeley, 4th Bt. and Ellen Parsons.² He married, firstly, Emily Green, daughter of Colonel Andrew Green, on 13 August 1889.² He married, secondly, Ida Margaret Elena Kerr, daughter of Colonel John MacGregor Kerr, on 20 January 1934.² He died on 20 July 1938 at age 76.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment.)² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Oakeley, of Shrewsbury [G.B., 1790] on 2 November 1915.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.²
