John William Coulthurst was the son of Reverend William Henry Coulthurst. He married Beatrice Mary Eugenia Cayley, daughter of Digby Cayley and Charlotte Philadelphia Bower, on 26 October 1898.1 He died on 14 June 1949, following an accident, without issue.1

Catherine Eleanor Millicent Cayley was the daughter of Digby Cayley and Charlotte Philadelphia Bower.2 She married Admiral Sir Walter Henry Cowan, 1st Bt., son of Major Walter Frederick James Cowan and Frances Anne Lucas, on 13 February 1901.1 She died on 21 April 1934.1

Admiral Sir Walter Henry Cowan, 1st Bt. was born on 11 June 1871.2 He was the son of Major Walter Frederick James Cowan and Frances Anne Lucas.3 He married Catherine Eleanor Millicent Cayley, daughter of Digby Cayley and Charlotte Philadelphia Bower, on 13 February 1901.1 He died on 14 February 1956 at age 84.4
He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Cowan.1
