Patrick Lindsay, 3rd of Wormiston was the son of John Lindsay and Elspeth Lentron.1 He married Catherine Bethune, daughter of Robert Bethune, 1st of Bandon and Marion Inglis, on 18 June 1657.2
He lived at Wormiston, Fife, ScotlandG.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651, where he was captured by Crowmell's troops.1

Catherine Bethune was born circa 1640.2 She was the daughter of Robert Bethune, 1st of Bandon and Marion Inglis.1,2 She married Patrick Lindsay, 3rd of Wormiston, son of John Lindsay and Elspeth Lentron, on 18 June 1657.2 She died on 6 March 1730.2
