John Cave-Browne1

     John Cave-Browne was the son of Roger Cave and Catherine Browne.2 He married, firstly, Frances Inge, daughter of Theodore William Inge, on 6 December 1757.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Astley, daughter of Thomas Astley, on 3 January 1764.1 He died on 2 October 1798.1
     He was given the name of John Cave at birth.1 In 1752 his name was legally changed to John Cave-Browne by Act of Parliament.1 He lived at Stretton Hall, Stretton-en-le-Field, Derbyshire, EnglandG.3

     Frances Inge was the daughter of Theodore William Inge.2 She married John Cave-Browne, son of Roger Cave and Catherine Browne, on 6 December 1757.1 She died circa October 1758, without issue.1 She was buried on 25 October 1758.1
     From 6 December 1757, her married name became Cave-Browne.1

Lt.-Col. Edward Cave-Browne1

     Lt.-Col. Edward Cave-Browne was born on 15 November 1779.1 He was the son of John Cave-Browne and Catherine Astley.2 He married Ann Raban, daughter of Thomas Raban and Catherine Jones, on 8 October 1815.1 He died on 26 July 1841 at age 61.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
