Edith Harriet Symonds was the daughter of John Addington Symonds and Harriet Sykes.2,3 She married Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt., son of Daniel Cave and Frances Locock, on 1 September 1859.1 She died on 5 August 1912.1

Sir Charles Henry Cave, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 March 1861.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds.2 He married Beatrice Julia Williams, daughter of Sir Frederick Martin Williams, 2nd Bt. and Mary Christian Law, on 12 January 1892.1 He died on 26 July 1932 at age 71.1
He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Cave, of Sidbury Manor, Devon [U.K., 1896] on 29 October 1922.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1926.1

Major Arthur Stephen Cave was born on 24 June 1865.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds.2 He married Emily Ina Graham Mitchell, daughter of Roland Lyons Nosworthy Mitchell, on 10 January 1905.1 He died on 13 July 1945 at age 80.1
