     Lt.-Col. Sir James Chamberlayne, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir James Chamberlayne, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Goodwin.1 He married Betty Clarke Walker, daughter of unknown Walker, on 15 June 1725 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 23 December 1767, without male issue.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his three daughters on 29 January 1768.1 He was buried at Dunstew, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Horse Guards.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Chamberlayne, of Wickham, co. Oxford [E., 1643] in October 1694.1

     Betty Clarke Walker was the daughter of unknown Walker.1 She married Lt.-Col. Sir James Chamberlayne, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Chamberlayne, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Goodwin, on 15 June 1725 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG.1 She died before 1767.1
     She lived at Little London, Hillingdon, London, EnglandG.1 From 15 June 1725, her married name became Chamberlayne.1

     Sir Henry Chamberlayne, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir James Chamberlayne, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Goodwin.1 He died on 25 January 1776, without issue.1 He was buried at Dunstew, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1776.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Chamberlayne, of Wickham, co. Oxford [E., 1643] on 23 December 1767.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Sir Thomas Champneys, 1st Bt. was born on 9 October 1745.1 He was the son of Richard Champneys and Jane Swymmer.1 He married, firstly, Caroline Anne Cox, daughter of Richard Cox and Caroline Codrington, on 5 July 1768.1 He and Henrietta Minchin obtained a marriage license on 10 December 1801.1 He died on 2 July 1821 at age 75 at Hampshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in 1822.1
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 16 May 1764.1 He was created 1st Baronet Champneys, of Orchardleigh, co. Somerset [Great Britain] on 26 January 1767.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset between 1775 and 1776.1 He lived after 1776 at JamaicaG.1
