Nesta Jessie Lindsay was born on 23 May 1898.1 She was the daughter of Henry Edzell Morgan Lindsay and Ellen Katherine Thomas.1 She married S/Ldr. Gerald Towell Stoneham, son of Frederic Stoneham, on 22 July 1927.1 She died on 11 June 1957 at age 59, without issue.1
Her married name became Stoneham. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1943.1 She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1

Janet Erskine was the daughter of Sir William Erskine. She married William Alexander, 1st Earl of Stirling, son of Alexander Alexander of Menstrie, on 3 January 1601.1 She died after 10 May 1649.

Robert Erskine, 4th Lord Erskine was the son of Alexander Erskine, 3rd Lord Erskine and Christian Crichton.2,3 He married Isabel Campbell, daughter of Sir George Campbell of Loudoun and Agnes Kennedy, circa 1485.2 He died on 9 September 1513, killed in action.3
He succeeded as the 4th Lord Erskine [S., 1438] from 10 March 1507/8 to 10 May 1509.4 He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Mar [S., c. 1115] from 10 March 1507/8 to 10 May 1509, de jure.1 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.3
