     In 1487 he purchased Sapperton Manor from the trustees of his wife's first husband, Sir William Nottingham.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1491.1 He partipicated in an ordinance in 1497; Sheriff of Gloucestershire.1
