     Sir John Dunamace Heaton-Armstrong was born on 21 February 1888 at London, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of William Charles Heaton-Armstrong and Bertha Maximiliana Baroness Zois-Edelstein.¹ He married Suzanne Laura de Balan, daughter of Etienne Desire Frederic Bechet de Balan, on 21 June 1919.¹ He died on 27 August 1967 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1912 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.¹ He was invested in the Order of the Albanian Eagle.¹ He fought in the First World War, as a Captain with the 20th Deccan Horse of the Indian Army Reserve. He was wounded.¹ He held the office of Rouge Dragon Pursuivant between 1922 and 1926.¹ He held the office of Chester Herald between 1926 and 1956.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1937.¹ He held the office of Registrar of the College of Arms between 1939 and 1950.¹ He fought in the Second World War, as a Squadron Leader with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1953.¹ He held the office of Clarenceux King of Arms between 1956 and 1967.¹ He held the office of Inspector of Royal Air Force, and Australian and New Zealand Air Forces Badges.¹ He lived at Carlisle Mansions, 46 Carlisle Place, London, England^G.¹

     Reverend William Campbell Riland-Bedford was the son of Reverend William Kirkpatrick Riland-Bedford and Maria Amy Houson.^1,2 He married Eleanor Phoebe Chance, daughter of Sir James Timmins Chance, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Ferguson, on 5 December 1877.¹ He died on 15 August 1922.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector at Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Hon. Canon of Birmingham.¹

     Reverend William Kirkpatrick Riland-Bedford was born on 12 July 1826 at Sutton Coldfield Rectory, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England.² He was the son of Reverend William Riland Bedford and Grace Campbell Kirkpatrick Sharpe.² He married, firstly, Maria Amy Houson, daughter of Joseph Houson, on 18 September 1851.² He married, secondly, Margaret Browne, daughter of Dennis Browne, in 1900.² He died on 23 January 1905 at age 78 at Cricklewood, London, England.²
     He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1848 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Rector between 1850 and 1892 at Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England.² He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1852 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He wrote the book Three Hundred Years of a Family Living, being a History of the Rilands of Sutton Coldfield, published 1889.² He was Chaplain of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem.² He wrote the book The Manor of Sutton, Feudal and Municipal, published 1901.³
