     Alexander Dunbar of Grange was the son of Thomas Dunbar and Grisell Crichton.² He married, firstly, Jean Campbell, daughter of unknown Campbell, on 11 March 1624.² He married, secondly, Jean Cockburn, daughter of Sir William Cockburn of Langton, 1st Bt. and Helen Elphinstone, in January 1632.² He died before March 1642.³
