     Harriet McKenny was baptised on 18 August 1850 at Santry, County Dublin, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of James McKenny and Harriet Donovan.3,2 She married Stewart Eyre Evans, son of Thomas Williams Evans and Helen Elizabeth Moncrieffe, on 18 October 1877 at St. Matthew's Church, Dunedin, New Zealand.1,2 She died on 12 November 1882 at age 32 at Kohimaramara, Auckland, New Zealand.1,4
     From 18 October 1877, her married name became Evans.

     Emily Helen McKenny Evans was born on 11 February 1879 at Brooklet, Oamaru, New Zealand.1,2 She was the daughter of Stewart Eyre Evans and Harriet McKenny.3 She married John Hugh Chappell, son of William Henry Chappell and Isabella Graydon, on 13 March 1912 at St. Matthew's Church, Auckland, New Zealand.4,2 She died on 21 July 1947 at age 68.4
     From 13 March 1912, her married name became Chappell.4

     John Freke Evans was born on 6 February 1817.1 He was the son of Eyre Evans and Anna Maunsell.2 He married, firstly, Julia Bruce Moncrieffe, daughter of Reverend David Stewart Moncrieffe and Sarah Ann Simmons, on 27 May 1851.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Maitland Pugh, daughter of Reverend Giles Pugh, on 12 November 1885.1 He died in 1892.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1
