Rt. Hon. Sir Ronald Charles Lindsay was born on 3 May 1877.1 He was the son of James Ludovic Lindsay, 26th Earl of Crawford and Emily Florence Bootle-Wilbraham.1 He married, firstly, Martha Cameron, daughter of Hon. James Donald Cameron, on 18 March 1909.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Sherman Hoyt, daughter of Colgate Hoyt, on 14 July 1924.1 He died on 21 August 1945 at age 68, without issue.1
