     Thomas Verner was the son of David Verner and Elizabeth Crossle.1 He died on 17 June 1775 at Bunker Hill, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill on 17 June 1775.1

     Thomas Verner was born on 25 March 1774.1 He was the son of Colonel James Verner and Jane Clarke.1 He married Elizabeth May, daughter of Sir Edward May, 2nd Bt., on 13 December 1803.1 He died on 13 August 1853 at age 79.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Armagh.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Armagh.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to HM Queen Victoria.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Antrim Militia.1 He lived at Cadogan Place, London, EnglandG.1

     Elizabeth May was the daughter of Sir Edward May, 2nd Bt.2 She married Thomas Verner, son of Colonel James Verner and Jane Clarke, on 13 December 1803.1 She died on 15 January 1848.1
     From 13 December 1803, her married name became Verner.

Sir William Verner, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir William Verner, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 April 1822.2 He was the son of Sir William Verner, 1st Bt. and Harriet Wingfield.3 He married Mary Frances Hester Pakenham, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir Hercules Robert Pakenham and Hon. Emily Stapleton, on 6 August 1850.2 He died on 10 January 1873 at age 50.2
     He gained the rank of officer in the Coldstream Guards.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Armagh between 1868 and 1873.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Verner, of Verner's Bridge, co. Armagh [U.K., 1846] on 20 January 1871.2
