     Margaret Rosalind Hando, Baroness Delacourt-Smith of Alteryn was born on 5 April 1916.2 She was the daughter of Frederick James Hando.2 She married, firstly, Charles George Percy Delacourt-Smith, Baron Delacourt-Smith, son of Charles Smith and Ethel Ralfe, in 1939.2 She married, secondly, Charles Stuart Blackton in 1978.2 She died on 8 June 2010 at age 94.3
