Lady Margaret King was born in 1773.2 She was the daughter of Robert King, 2nd Earl of Kingston and Caroline FitzGerald.3 She married, firstly, Stephen Moore, 2nd Earl Mountcashell, son of Stephen Moore, 1st Earl Mountcashell and Lady Helena Rawdon, on 12 September 1791 at Mitchelstown, County Cork, IrelandG.2 She and Stephen Moore, 2nd Earl Mountcashell were divorced in 1812.4 She married, secondly, George William Tighe, son of Edward Tighe and Anna Jones, after 1822.5 She died on 29 January 1835, abroad.2 She was buried at Protestant Cemetery, LeghornG.5
After her marriage, Lady Margaret King was styled as Countess Mountcashell on 12 September 1791. From 12 September 1791, her married name became Moore.2 From after 1822, her married name became Tighe.5
