Henry Gough-Calthorpe, 1st Baron Calthorpe was born on 1 January 1749.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Gough, 1st Bt. and Barbara Calthorpe.1 He married Frances Carpenter, daughter of General Benjamin Carpenter and Mary Carr, on 1 May 1783 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 16 March 1798 at age 49 at Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London, EnglandG, from a fever.1 He was buried on 26 March 1798 at Edgbaston, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1
