James Pattle1

     James Pattle was born in 1775 at IndiaG.2 He was the son of Thomas Pattle and Sarah Hasleby.2 He married Adeline Maria de l'Etang, daughter of Chevalier Antoine Pierre Ambroise de l'Etang and Therese Josephe Blin de Grincourt, on 18 February 1811 at Bhagulpur, India.2,3 He died in 1845.2
     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He was in the Bengal Civil Service.4 He held the office of Senior Judge of the Court of Appeal [Murshidabad].2

     Julia Margaret Pattle was born on 11 June 1815 at Calcutta, IndiaG.2 She was the daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de l'Etang.3,2 She married Charles Hay Cameron, son of Charles Cameron and Lady Margaret Hay, in 1838.1 She died on 26 January 1879 at age 63.2
     From 1838, her married name became Cameron. She photographed R:Subject in 1866.2 She has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of Nationary Biography.4

Colonel George Pilkington Blake1

     Colonel George Pilkington Blake was born on 23 April 1835.2 He was the son of James Bunbury Blake and Catherine Pilkington.2 He married, firstly, Adeline King, daughter of James King King, on 15 May 1860.2 He married, secondly, Adela Mary Lavina Theobald, daughter of Theobald Theobald, in 1893.2 He died on 8 May 1915 at age 80.2
     He lived at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 84th Regiment.2 He fought in the Siege of Lucknow, where he was mentioned in dispatches.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Suffolk Yeomanry Cavalry.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.2 He lived at Thurston House, Suffolk, England.2

     Caroline Catherine Browne was the daughter of John Denis Browne and Esther Wells.2 She married Lt.-Col. Eugene Hay Cameron, son of Charles Hay Cameron and Julia Margaret Pattle, on 18 January 1862.1 She died on 21 December 1934.1
     From 18 January 1862, her married name became Cameron.1

     Gertrude Georgina Browne was the daughter of George Robert Browne and Emma Frances Gun.2 She married Archibald Denis Hay Cameron, son of Lt.-Col. Eugene Hay Cameron and Caroline Catherine Browne, on 18 April 1895.1 She died on 16 January 1948.1
     She lived at Cahirdown, County Down, IrelandG.1 From 18 April 1895, her married name became Cameron.1
