     Joan (?) was the daughter of John Haraldssen, Jarl of Orkney.2 She married Freskin of Moray, Lord of Duffus.1 She died in 1269.1

     Freskin of Moray, Lord of Duffus married Joan (?), daughter of John Haraldssen, Jarl of Orkney.1 He died before 1269.1
     He was Lord of Duffus and apparently Joint Earl of Caithness in right of his wife.1 He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Caithness [S., 1030], in right of his wife.1

     Sir Reynald Cheyne married Mary of Duffus, daughter of Freskin of Moray, Lord of Duffus and Joan (?).1
     He was apparently Earl of Caithness in the late 13th-early 14th century in right of his wife.1 He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Caithness [S., 1030], in right of his wife.1
