Margaret Copley was the daughter of Colonel Christopher Copley and Lady Mary Jones.1 She married Sir Gregory Byrne, 1st Bt., son of Daniel Byrne and Anne Taylor, circa 15 March 1669/70.1 She died on 20 July 1685.1 She was buried on 23 July 1685 at St. Audoen's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1

Alice Fleming was the daughter of Randall Fleming, 16th Lord Slane and Penelope Moore.1 She married, firstly, Sir Gregory Byrne, 1st Bt., son of Daniel Byrne and Anne Taylor, in 1690.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Thomas Warren after 1712.1 She died on 13 December 1753.1

Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 5th Bt. was born on 8 November 1889.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fowell Victor Buxton, 4th Bt. and Anne Louisa Matilda O'Rorke.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Dorothy Agnes Cochrane, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Horatio Arthur Ernest Cochrane, 1st Baron Cochrane of Cults and Lady Gertrude Julia Georgina Boyle, on 21 July 1923.1 He married, secondly, Eva Katharine Balfour, daughter of Edward Balfour, 8th of Balbirnie and Isabella Weyman Hooper, on 10 November 1931.1 He died on 28 October 1945 at age 55.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Essex Yeomanry.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Buxton, of Belfield, co. Dorset and Runton, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1840] on 31 May 1919.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1928.1
