     Reverend Stewart Gordon Ponsonby was born in 1856.2 He was the son of Captain Charles Ponsonby.3 He married Mary Catherine Buxton, daughter of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Victoria Noel, on 27 November 1889.1 He died on 11 July 1938.1
     He was the Rector at St. Mary le Bow, Cheapside, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Prebendary and Chancellor of Exeter Cathedral.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     From 25 June 1904, her married name became de Bunsen.

     From 21 December 1920, her married name became Crowdy.
