     James Henry Butler was born on 20 April 1863.1 He was the son of James Thomas Butler and Adelaide Maria K'Eogh.2 He died on 7 December 1927 at age 64, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Bechuanaland Expedition in 1885.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign between 1896 and 1899.1 He held the office of Governor of the White Nile Province, Sudan.1 He held the office of Pasha in Egypt.1

Somerset Edward Molyneux Butler1

     Somerset Edward Molyneux Butler was born on 13 August 1867.1 He was the son of James Thomas Butler and Adelaide Maria K'Eogh.2 He married Elise Jessie Bearcroft, daughter of Reginald Bearcroft, on 7 January 1902.1 He died on 6 November 1914 at age 47.1
     He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, Ireland (L.R.C.P.I.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (L.R.C.S.I.)1
