     Mary Gaither was born on 4 October 1724.¹ She was the daughter of John Gaither and Elizabeth Duvall.¹

     John Gaither was born on 15 January 1668.¹ He was the son of John Gaither and Ruth Beard.¹ He married Elizabeth Duvall, daughter of John Duvall and Elizabeth Jones, in 1719.¹ He died on 4 May 1739 at age 71.¹

     John Gaither is the son of John Gaither.¹

     Ariana Dorsey was born on 24 February 1755 at Queen Caroline Parish, Anne Arundel, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Dorsey and Elizabeth Worthington.¹ She married Benjamin Warfield, son of Seth Warfield and Mary Gaither, on 28 April 1779.¹ She died circa 28 March 1827.¹
     From 28 April 1779, her married name became Warfield.¹

     Elizabeth Duvall was born on 4 August 1687.¹ She was the daughter of John Duvall and Elizabeth Jones.¹ She married John Gaither, son of John Gaither and Ruth Beard, in 1719.¹ She died on 22 November 1770 at age 83.¹
     From 1719, her married name became Gaither.¹

     John Duvall was born in 1658.¹ He married Elizabeth Jones on 17 August 1685.¹ He died on 20 April 1711.¹

     Elizabeth Jones married John Duvall on 17 August 1685.¹ She died after 1716.¹
     From 17 August 1685, her married name became Duvall.¹

     Ruth Beard was the daughter of Richard Beard and Rachel Robins.¹ She died in 1719.¹
