     Anne Elizabeth Hardcastle Arnould was the daughter of Joseph Arnould and Elizabeth Hardcastle.1,2 She married Reverend Henry Arnold Olivier, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Stephen Olivier and Mary Dacres.3 She died in 1912.1
     Her married name became Olivier.3

     Joseph Arnould was born on 6 September 1786.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Hardcastle, daughter of Joseph Hardcastle.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Smith Baily.2 He married, thirdly, Frances Elizabeth Lloyd, daughter of Reverend Thomas Lloyd and Frances Macky.2
     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, in 1812 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1,2 He lived at Whitecross, Wallingford, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     Gerald Collingwood was born in 1902.1 He is the son of Sir William Collingwood and Maria Elizabeth Lermit.1 He married Hon. Elsa Joan Gridley, daughter of Arnold Babb Gridley, 1st Baron Gridley and Mabel Hudson, on 5 November 1929.2
     He was Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)2 He was Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)2 He was educated at Bradfield School, EnglandG.1 He was registered as a Civil Enginer (C.Eng.)1 He was Commandant of the Central Workshops, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1942.1 He was managing director of Robert Stephenson and Hawthornes Ltd in 1945.1 He was managing director of the Vulcan Foundry in 1948.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1952 in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (Territorial Army.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (F.I.Mech.E.)1 He was chairman of the Vulcan Foundry in 1963.1

Hon. Elsa Joan Gridley1

     Hon. Elsa Joan Gridley was born on 15 August 1907.2 She was the daughter of Arnold Babb Gridley, 1st Baron Gridley and Mabel Hudson.3,4 She married Gerald Collingwood, son of Sir William Collingwood and Maria Elizabeth Lermit, on 5 November 1929.2 She died on 15 October 1973 at age 66.2
     From 5 November 1929, her married name became Collingwood.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire in 1953.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1963.1

     Arnold Babb Gridley, 1st Baron Gridley was born on 16 July 1878.1 He was the son of Edward Gridley and Emily Mary Babb.2 He married Mabel Hudson, daughter of Oliver Hudson and Elizabeth Martha Neave, on 10 August 1905.3 He died on 27 July 1965 at age 87.1
     He was educated at Bristol Grammar School, Bristol, EnglandG.3 He was with Clifton Laboratories.3 He was a consulting engineer.3 He was Director of Electric Manufacturing, Controller Electric Power Supply, Ministry of Munitions between 1916 and 1919.3 He was Special Duties, Home Office between January 1919 and September 1919.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1920.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Stockport between 1935 and 1950.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Stockport South between 1950 and 1955.3 He was created 1st Baron Gridley, of Stockport, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K.] on 10 January 1955.1
