     Richard Lucy was the son of Sir Thomas Lucy and Alicia Spencer.2 He married Elizabeth Urby, daughter of John Urby.3 He died in 1677.4

Colonel Sir John Burke, 2nd Bt.1

     Colonel Sir John Burke, 2nd Bt. was born in 1782.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. and Christian Browne.1 He married Elizabeth Mary Calcraft, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Calcraft and Elizabeth Mary Hales, on 18 May 1812 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1,2 He died on 14 September 1847 at Ely Place, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1804 in the 98th Foot.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Burke, of Marble Hill, co. Galway [I., 1797] on 22 May 1813.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Galway between 1830 and 1832.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of County Galway.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 98th Foot, which had been raised by his father.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1838.1

     Sir Roger Burgoyne, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John Burgoyne, 3rd Bt. and Constance Lucy.1 He married Constance Middleton, daughter of Sir Thomas Middleton and Mary Langham, circa 21 June 1703 at St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 He died in 1716.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 29 March 1716.1
     He was educated in 1695 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Burgoyne, of Sutton, co. Bedford [E., 1641] on 9 April 1709.1 His last will was dated 2 November 1710.

     Constance Middleton was the daughter of Sir Thomas Middleton and Mary Langham.1 She married, firstly, Sir Roger Burgoyne, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Burgoyne, 3rd Bt. and Constance Lucy, circa 21 June 1703 at St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 She married, secondly, Christopher Wren, son of Sir Christopher Wren and Faith Goghill, on 8 March 1715 at Cople, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 23 May 1734.1
     From circa 21 June 1703, her married name became Burgoyne.1 From 8 March 1715, her married name became Wren.1
