Catherine Wellborn Morgan is the daughter of Thomas Redman Morgan.1 She married S/Ldr. John St. Clair Arbuthnott, son of Donald Stuart Arbuthnott and Anne Elizabeth Brand, on 14 March 1967.1

Sir Henry Slingsby, 1st Bt. was born on 14 January 1601/2.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Slingsby and Frances Vavasour.2,3 He married Barbara Bellasyse, daughter of Thomas Belasyse, 1st Viscount Fauconberg of Henknowle and Barbara Cholmley, on 7 July 1631 at Kensington Church, Kensington, London, England.1 He died on 8 June 1658 at age 56 at Tower Hill, London, England, beheaded.1
He was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was created 1st Baronet Slingsby, of Scriven, co. York [N.S.] on 2 March 1638. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Knaresborough in 1640.1 He wrote the book Diary of Sir Henry Slingsby, published 1836.1
