     Reverend Peyton Blakiston was born on 25 September 1801.¹ He was the son of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rochfort.¹ He married Frances Powell, daughter of John Folliott Powell and Frances Armett, in August 1825.¹ He died on 17 December 1878 at age 77.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was Dixie Fellow at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹

     Frances Powell was born on 14 October 1802.² She was the daughter of John Folliott Powell and Frances Armett.^1,2 She married Reverend Peyton Blakiston, son of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rochfort, in August 1825.¹ She died on 23 February 1858 at age 55.¹
     From August 1825, her married name became Blakiston.¹

     John Folliott Powell was born on 27 December 1771.² He was the son of Richard Powell and Elizabeth Cottrell.² He married Frances Armett, daughter of Charles Armett, in February 1801.² He died on 9 November 1839 at age 67.²
     They had other issue who died unmarried.² He lived at Sandy Brook, Derbyshire, England.² He lived at Leamington, Warwickshire, England.²

     Reverend William Albermarle Bertie Cator was born on 9 October 1818.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Cator and Penelope Anne Farnaby.¹ He married Aurelia van Tetrode, daughter of Pieter van Tetrode and Elizabeth Holden, on 4 May 1852 at West Wickham, Kent, England.² He died in 1884.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Rector at Carshalton, Surrey, England.¹

     John Richard Blakiston was born on 30 June 1829.¹ He was the son of Reverend Peyton Blakiston and Frances Powell.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Nicolls, daughter of General Sir Edward Nicolls and Eleanor Bristow, on 6 June 1854.¹ He married, secondly, Marie Simon, daughter of Pierre Simon, on 30 June 1857.¹ He died on 21 September 1917 at age 88.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Chief Inspector of Schools.¹

     Elizabeth Nicolls was born in 1821.² She was the daughter of General Sir Edward Nicolls and Eleanor Bristow.^1,2 She married John Richard Blakiston, son of Reverend Peyton Blakiston and Frances Powell, on 6 June 1854.¹ She died in February 1856, without issue.¹
     From 6 June 1854, her married name became Blakiston.¹

     General Sir Edward Nicolls was born in 1779 at Coleraine, County Londonderry, Ireland.² He married Eleanor Bristow in 1809 at Ireland.² He died on 5 February 1865 at Blackheath, London, England.²
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)³ He gained the rank of General in the Royal Marines.³

     Marie Simon was the daughter of Pierre Simon.¹ She married, firstly, Major unknown Hill before 1857.¹ She married, secondly, John Richard Blakiston, son of Reverend Peyton Blakiston and Frances Powell, on 30 June 1857.¹ She died on 7 March 1908.¹
     From before 1857, her married name became Hill.¹ From 30 June 1857, her married name became Blakiston.¹

     Pierre Simon was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Major unknown Hill married Marie Simon, daughter of Pierre Simon, before 1857.¹ He died before 1857.¹
