Edward Austen Bradford was born on 8 December 1879.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Ridley Colborne Bradford, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Adela Knight.1 He married Margaret Louisa Hardy, daughter of Herbert Carey Hardy and Adela Louisa Cassandra Knight, on 1 January 1908.1 He died on 5 June 1958 at age 78.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1
