     Sir John Bowyer, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 April 1653.1 He was the son of Sir John Bowyer, 1st Bt. and Mary Milward.1 He married Hon. Jane Murray, daughter of Henry Murray and Anne Bayning, Viscountess Bayning of Foxley, circa 10 July 1672.1 He died circa July 1691.1 He was buried on 18 July 1691 at Biddulph, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 16 February 1687/8) was proven (by probate) on 20 April 1695.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bowyer, of Knipersley, co. Stafford [E., 1660] in July 1666.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 11 July 1668.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 9 July 1669 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire from 1677 to 1678.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Warwick from February 1677/78 to January 1678/79.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire from 1679 to 1681.1

Jane Murray was the daughter of Henry Murray and Anne Bayning, Viscountess Bayning of Foxley.1 She married Sir John Bowyer, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Bowyer, 1st Bt. and Mary Milward, circa 10 July 1672.1 She died on 19 October 1727 at The Priory, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 She was buried at Biddulph, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 Her will (dated 27 September 1720) was proven (by probate) on 29 December 1727.1
     From circa 10 July 1672, her married name became Bowyer.1

     Sir John Bowyer, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1673.1 He was the son of Sir John Bowyer, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Jane Murray.1 He died circa May 1701 at The Priory, Warwickshire, EnglandG, unmarried.1 He was buried on 10 May 1701 at Biddulph, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his mother on 19 May 1701.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bowyer, of Knipersley, co. Stafford [E., 1660] in July 1691.1

     Sir William Bowyer, 4th Bt. was born on 23 July 1654.1 He was the son of Sir John Bowyer, 1st Bt. and Mary Milward.1 He married Anne Dale, daughter of George Dale and Millicent Dakeyne, before 1672.1 He died circa February 1701/2, without surviving male issue.1 He was buried on 17 February 1701/2 at Biddulph, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 20 June 1701) was proven (by probate) on 30 April 1702 at Lichfield, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bowyer, of Knipersley, co. Stafford [E., 1660] in May 1701.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     From before 1672, her married name became Bowyer.1

     She inherited the estate of Norton-le-Moors.1 From 8 April 1702, her married name became Adderley.1
