Anne Carey married, firstly, Captain James Baker before 1776.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Bowyer, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Bowyer, 3rd Bt. and Anne Stonhouse, on 26 August 1776 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 25 December 1802.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in 1803.1

Admiral Sir George Bowyer, 1st/5th Bt. was born in 1739.1 He was the son of Sir William Bowyer, 3rd Bt. and Anne Stonhouse.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Price, daughter of Reverend unknown Price, on 11 November 1768 at Putney, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Brett, daughter of Admiral Sir Piercy Brett and Henrietta Colby, on 4 June 1782.1 He died on 6 December 1799 at Radley House, Radley, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in December 1800.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 13 February 1758 in the Royal Navy.1,2 He gained the rank of Commander on 4 May 1761.1,2 He gained the rank of Post Captain on 28 October 1762.1,2 He gained the rank of Commodore in 1781.1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.)
