     Edward Buffett was born on 27 November 1835 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of John Buffett and Dorothy Young.¹ He married Louisa Victoria Rose Quintal, daughter of Arthur Quintal and Martha Quintal, on 3 October 1858 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died on 28 November 1911 at age 76 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     Lived at Roger's Cottage on Avenue of Pines, Norfolk. The stone cottage, the home of the original John Buffett, was used as a private school for many years run by Edward Buffett's daughters, then was demolished around 1942 to make way for the Norfolk Airport.¹

     Mary Helena Short Buffett was born on 15 January 1860 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Buffett and Louisa Victoria Rose Quintal.¹ She married Joseph Atkin Nobbs, son of James Wingate Johnstone Nobbs and Isabella Emily Christian, at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 20 September 1931 at age 71.¹
     She was a schoolteacher.¹ Her married name became Nobbs.¹

     Kurt Leimer was born in 1920 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany^G.¹ He married Emmy Margit von Opel, daughter of Heinrich Adam von Opel and Emilie Weber, in 1944.¹ He died on 20 November 1974 at Vaduz, Liechtenstein^G.¹

     Reubena Buffett was born on 20 October 1869 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Buffett and Louisa Victoria Rose Quintal.¹ She married George Edward Young Buffett, son of David Buffett and Martha Young, on 6 July 1899 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 3 October 1926 at age 56 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     George Edward Young Buffett was born on 19 July 1867 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of David Buffett and Martha Young.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Amelia Adams, daughter of Josiah Chester Adams and Diana McCoy, on 6 October 1886 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He married, secondly, Reubena Buffett, daughter of Edward Buffett and Louisa Victoria Rose Quintal, on 6 July 1899 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died on 16 August 1939 at age 72.¹
     He was a devout Anglican.¹

     Victoria Edwina Jane Buffett was born on 27 November 1901 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of George Edward Young Buffett and Reubena Buffett.¹ She died in 1985.¹
