     Penelope Hewett was the daughter of George Hewett and Penelope Jesson.¹ She married, firstly, Sir William Chester, 5th Bt., son of Sir John Chester, 4th Bt. and Anne Wollaston, on 6 March 1716/17 at Shenton, Leicestershire, England^G.¹ She married, secondly, James Montagu, son of Hon. Charles Montagu and Elizabeth Forster, on 5 April 1736 at Mercer's Chapel, Cornhill, London, England^G.¹ She died between May 1739 and December 1744.¹
     From 6 March 1716/17, her married name became Chester.¹ From 5 April 1736, her married name became Montagu.¹

     George Hewett was born in 1664.² He married Penelope Jesson, daughter of Sir William Jesson and Penelope Villiers.² He died in 1714.²

     James Montagu was the son of Hon. Charles Montagu and Elizabeth Forster.^1,2 He married, secondly, Penelope Hewett, daughter of George Hewett and Penelope Jesson, on 5 April 1736 at Mercer's Chapel, Cornhill, London, England^G.¹ He died circa 5 November 1748, without issue.¹ He was buried on 8 November 1748.²
     He lived at Newbold Verdon, Leicestershire, England.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Camelford.²

     George Benjamin Austen Lefroy was born on 15 May 1818.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Lefroy and Jane Anna Elizabeth Austen.¹ He married Emma Cracroft, daughter of Thomas Edward Cracroft, on 17 November 1853.¹ He died on 18 April 1912 at age 93.¹

     From 15 February 1718/19, her married name became Chester.¹ Her last will was dated 5 February 1748/49.

     Sir Charles Bagot Chester, 7th Bt. was born in 1724.¹ He was the son of Sir John Chester, 6th Bt. and Frances Bagot.¹ He died on 25 May 1755, unmarried, without legitimate issue.¹ He was buried on 29 May 1755 at Chicheley, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ His will (dated 21 May 1755) was proven (by probate) on 27 May 1755.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He matriculated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 4 November 1741.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Chester, of Chicheley, co. Bucks [E., 1620] on 8 February 1747/48.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 14 April 1749.¹ He had children by two mistresses, "whom he kept to the day of his death."¹
