Admiral Hon. Sir Henry Keppel was born on 14 June 1809.1 He was the son of William Charles Keppel, 4th Earl of Albemarle and Hon. Elizabeth Southwell.1 He married, firstly, Katherine Louisa Crosbie, daughter of General Sir John Gustavus Crosbie and Frances Page Thomas, on 25 February 1839.1 He married, secondly, Jane Elizabeth West, daughter of Martin John West and Lady Maria Walpole, on 31 October 1861.1 He died on 17 January 1904 at age 94.1
He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He fought in the destruction of the Chinese Fleet on 1 June 1857, where he commanded.1 He held the office of Groom-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1859 and 1860.1 He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.)1 Admiral of the Fleet.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)1

Katherine Louisa Crosbie was the daughter of General Sir John Gustavus Crosbie and Frances Page Thomas.1,2 She married Admiral Hon. Sir Henry Keppel, son of William Charles Keppel, 4th Earl of Albemarle and Hon. Elizabeth Southwell, on 25 February 1839.1 She died on 5 June 1859, without issue.1

Charles Marsham, 6th Earl of Romney was born on 9 July 1892.1 He was the son of Charles Marsham, 5th Earl of Romney and Anne Louisa Scott.1 He married Marie Henrietta Margaret Keppel, daughter of Admiral Sir Colin Richard Keppel and Henrietta Mary Blundell-Hollinshead-Blundell, on 24 July 1918.2 He died on 6 September 1975 at age 83, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated with a Lieutenant-Colonel, Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron of Romney, co.
