Flaithbertach, High King of Ireland was the son of Loingsech, High King of Ireland.1 He died in 765.1
He was a member of the House of Cenél Conaill.1 He succeeded as the High King Flaithbertach of Ireland in 728.1 He was deposed as High King of Ireland in 734.1

Áed Allán, High King of Ireland was the son of Fergal, High King of Ireland and unknown daughter (?)1,2 He died in 743, killed in battle in Meath against his own successor Domnaill, King of Meath (head of the southern Ui Neill, hence his heir).1
Áed Allán, High King of Ireland also went by the nick-name of Áed Allán (?) (or in English, the Handsome.)3 He was a member of the House of Cenél nEógain.1 In 725 he was defeated by the Cenal Conaill.3 Between 732 and 734 he campaigned once more against them under their Chief Flaithbertach, High King of Ireland (abdicated 734, after which the Cenel Eoghain alone represented the northern Ui Neill in the high-kingship.)3 He succeeded as the High King of Ireland in 734.1 In 737 he defeated and killed in single combat Aedh, King of Ui Cennsealaigh, in revenge for his father's death.3
