Sir John Chester, 4th Bt. was born on 24 June 1666.1 He was the son of Sir Anthony Chester, 3rd Bt. and Mary Cranmer.1 He was baptised on 6 July 1666 at Chicheley, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Anne Wollaston, daughter of William Wollaston and Elizabeth Cave, on 2 November 1686 at Shenton, Leicestershire, EnglandG, with a £10,000 portion.1 He married, secondly, Frances Noel, daughter of Sir William Noel, 2nd Bt. and Frances Ward, in April 1714.1 He died on 6 February 1725/26 at age 59.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Chester, of Chicheley, co. Bucks [E., 1620] on 15 February 1697/98.1 Circa 1699 he rebuilt Chicheley Hall.1
