James Crichton of Frendraught was the son of James Crichton of Auchincoull and of Frendraught and Janet Gordon.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of John Gordon, 13th Earl of Sutherland and Agnes Elphinstone, on 25 February 1619.1 He died circa 1672.1
