     Rt. Rev. George Henry Law was born on 12 September 1761 at Peterhouse Lodge, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian.4 He married Jane Adeane, daughter of General James Whorwood Adeane and Anne Jones, on 13 July 1784.3 He died on 22 September 1845 at age 84.3
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, London, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1784 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He was Prebendary in 1785 at Carlisle, Cumberland, EnglandG.3 He was the Vicar in 1787 at Torpenhow, Cumberland, EnglandG.3 He was the Rector in 1791 at Kelshall, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.3 He was the Rector in 1801 at Willingshall, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1804 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop of Chester between 1812 and 1824.1 He held the office of Bishop of Bath and Wells between 1824 and 1845.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

Annabella Blake1

     Annabella Blake was the daughter of Sir Patrick Blake, 1st Bt. and Annabella Bunbury.1,2 She married Robert Jones Adeane, son of General James Whorwood Adeane and Anne Jones, on 26 August 1785.1
     From 26 August 1785, her married name became Adeane.1

     Sir Patrick Blake, 1st Bt. was born circa 1730.2 He was the son of Andrew Blake and Marcella French.2 He married Annabella Bunbury, daughter of Reverend Sir William Bunbury, 5th Bt. and Eleanor Graham, circa 1765.3 He and Annabella Bunbury were divorced in April 1773 by Act of Parliament.2 He died on 1 July 1784.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 24 July 1784.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury between 1768 and 1784.2 He was created 1st Baronet Blake, of Langham, co. Suffolk [Great Britain] on 8 October 1772.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)4 He lived at Langham Hall, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 His last will was dated 3 June 1784.

     Catherine Judith King was the daughter of John King.1 She married Henry John Adeane, son of Robert Jones Adeane and Annabella Blake, on 24 October 1822.1
