General Hon. Sir. Alan Richard Montagu-Stuart-Wortley was born on 20 January 1868.2 He was the son of Hon. Francis Dudley Montagu-Stuart-Wortley and Maria Elizabeth Martin.2 He married Hon. Maud Julia Mary Winn, daughter of Rowland Winn, 1st Baron Saint Oswald of Nostell and Harriet Maria Amelia Dumaresq, on 31 May 1900.2 He died on 23 September 1949 at age 81.2
He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 Alan.2 General Hon. Sir.
