     Jane Gibson was the daughter of Thomas Gibson.2 She married, firstly, Hon. Charles Robert St. John, son of George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke and Isabella Charlotte Antoinette Sophia Baronin von Hompesch, on 20 April 1841.1 She married, secondly, Sir Percy Florence Shelley, 3rd Bt., son of Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin, on 22 June 1848.1 She died on 24 June 1899, without issue.1
     From 20 April 1841, her married name became St. John.1 From 22 June 1848, her married name became Shelley.1

     Sir John Bigod was the son of Sir Ralph Bigod and Anne de Greystoke.2 He married Elizabeth Scrope, daughter of Henry le Scrope, 4th Lord Scrope of Bolton and Elizabeth Scrope.1 He died on 29 March 1461 at Towton, Yorkshire, England, killed in action.2
     He lived at Settrington, Yorkshire, England.2 He fought in the Battle of Towton on 29 March 1461.2

     Elizabeth St. John was the daughter of Oliver St. John and Elizabeth Scrope.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Wallop, son of Stephen Wallop and unknown daughter Ashley.1 She married, firstly, Gerald FitzGerald, 8th Earl of Kildare, son of Thomas FitzMaurice FitzGerald, 7th Earl of Kildare and Lady Joan FitzGerald, in 1496.1 She died on 28 June 1516.1
     Her married name became Wallop.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth St. John was styled as Countess of Kildare in 1496. From 1496, her married name became FitzGerald.1

Sir John Wallop1

     Sir John Wallop was the son of Stephen Wallop and unknown daughter Ashley.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth St. John, daughter of Oliver St. John and Elizabeth Scrope.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Harleston, daughter of Sir Clement Harleston.2 He died on 13 July 1551, without issue.1
     He was appointed Knight before 1513.2 He was Envoy to the Regent of the Netherlands in 1515.2 Between 1516 and 1518 he fought against the Moors on behalf of King Emmanuel of Portugal.2 He was Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to King Henry VIII.2 He held the office of Constable of Trim, Ireland from 1522 to 1523.2 He held the office of High Marshal of Calais in 1524.2 He was Envoy to the Regent of the Netherlands in 1526.2 He held the office of Ambassador to France between 1532 and 1541.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1544.1,2 He was commissioner for settling the Anglo-French border of northern France in 1550.2
