     George Lyon, 1st of Kirkmichael was born on 15 July 1804.¹ He was the son of George Lyon and Margaret Stewart.¹ He married Phoebe Johnson, daughter of Admiral unknown Johnson.¹ He died in 1879.¹
     He lived at Dubrusean, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹ He sold Kirkmichael to John Stewart Lyon, 2nd of Kirkmichael at Kirkmichael, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Phoebe Johnson was the daughter of Admiral unknown Johnson.¹ She married George Lyon, 1st of Kirkmichael, son of George Lyon and Margaret Stewart.¹ She died in 1893.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.¹

     Laura Duncan is the daughter of John Bryce Duncan.¹ She married Major John George Lyon, son of John Stewart Lyon, 4th of Kirkmichael and Esme Agnes Mary Helen Dunlop, on 23 February 1928.¹ She and Major John George Lyon were divorced in 1943.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Colin Arthur Lyon, 5th of Kirkmichael was born on 11 July 1907.¹ He is the son of John Stewart Lyon, 4th of Kirkmichael and Esme Agnes Mary Helen Dunlop.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹

     Adam Walter Scott Lyon was born on 14 November 1870.¹ He was the son of George Francis Lyon, 3rd of Kirkmichael and Emma Ramsay Stark.¹ He married Elizabeth Jemima Balmain, daughter of Michael Balmain, in September 1897.¹ He died on 8 January 1929 at age 58.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     Elizabeth Jemima Balmain is the daughter of Michael Balmain.¹ She married Adam Walter Scott Lyon, son of George Francis Lyon, 3rd of Kirkmichael and Emma Ramsay Stark, in September 1897.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Francis Howard Lyon was born on 4 January 1875.¹ He was the son of George Francis Lyon, 3rd of Kirkmichael and Emma Ramsay Stark.¹ He married Evelyn Bayard Hall, daughter of Major Henry Hall, on 4 April 1908.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Commander (E) in the Royal Navy.¹

     Evelyn Bayard Hall was the daughter of Major Henry Hall.¹ She married Francis Howard Lyon, son of George Francis Lyon, 3rd of Kirkmichael and Emma Ramsay Stark, on 4 April 1908.¹ She died on 2 April 1928.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Annabelle Rosamond Williams-Freeman was born on 30 September 1944.¹ She is the daughter of William Peere Williams-Freeman and Kathleen Mabel Hamilton-Browne.¹ She married George Edward Allard on 17 March 1967.¹

     Mary Theresa Lyon is the daughter of George Francis Lyon, 3rd of Kirkmichael and Emma Ramsay Stark.¹ She married Colonel William Scott-Elliott, son of James Scott-Elliott, on 28 January 1902.¹
     From 28 January 1902, her married name became Scott-Elliott.¹
