Sir William Barker, 3rd Bt. was born in 1704.1 He was the son of Sir William Barker, 2nd Bt. and Catharine Theresa Keck.1 He married Mary Quin, daughter of Valentine Quin and Mary Widenham, in 1736.1 He died on 20 March 1770 at Kilcooley Abbey, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1
He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, on 20 February 1720.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Barker, of Bockinghall [in Bocking], co. Essex [E., 1676] on 5 May 1746.1 He lived at Ringsale Hall, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He lived at Kilcooley Abbey, near Kilkenny, County Dublin, IrelandG.1

Catharine Lane was the daughter of William Lane and Dorothea Conner.1 She and Sir William Barker, 4th Bt. obtained a marriage license on 23 January 1760.1 She died before 1830.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in 1830.1

Sir Robert Staples, 7th Bt. was born on 1 August 1740.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Staples, 6th Bt. and Abigail Townley.3 He married, secondly, Mary Barker, daughter of Sir William Barker, 3rd Bt. and Mary Quin.1 He married, firstly, Alicia Staples, daughter of Reverend Thomas Staples, in 1761.2 He married, thirdly, Hon. Jane Vesey, daughter of John Denny Vesey, 1st Baron Knapton and Elizabeth Brownlow, in 1776.3 He died in 1816.2
