Anne Bannerman was the daughter of Charles Bannerman and Margaret Wilson.1 She married Sir Charles Bannerman of Elsick, 8th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Bannerman of Elsick, 6th Bt. and Mary Gordon, on 14 August 1821.1 She died in 1838.1

He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Bannerman, of Elsick, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1682] on 21 April 1877.1
