Sir Norman Darcy1

     Sir Norman Darcy was born before 1236.1 He was the son of Sir Philip Darcy and Isabel Bertram.1 He married, firstly, Julian (?)2 He married, secondly, Margery (?) before 20 January 1292/93.2 He died circa 6 January 1295/96.2
     He lived at Cawkwell, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He lived in 1264 at Coningsby, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He joined the baronial war against King Henry III.2 On 30 June 1267 he was pardoned.2 He fought in the Welsh Wars between 1277 and 1287, with King Edward I.2 He was appointed Knight Banneret before February 1283/84.2 He fought in the Scottish Wars in 1291.2

     Sir Philip Darcy, 1st Lord Darcy was born before 1259.1 He was the son of Sir Norman Darcy and Julian (?)1,2 He died circa 24 November 1333.1,2
     On 9 February 1295/96 he had livery of his father's lands.2 He was created 1st Lord Darcy [England by writ] on 29 December 1299.2 He held the office of Constable of Durham Castle in 1301.2 He was appointed Knight Banneret before 16 March 1321/22.2 He fought in the Battle of Boroughbridge on 16 March 1321/22, where he was taken prisoner by King Edward II's forces.2 He lived at Cawkwell, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Coningsby, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1
