William Noel-Hill, 6th Baron Berwick of Attingham was born on 6 July 1802.1 He was the son of Richard Noel-Hill, 4th Baron Berwick of Attingham and Frances Maria Mostyn-Owen.1 He was baptised on 12 July 1802 at Betton House, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 24 November 1882 at age 80 at Attingham Hall, Atcham, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, EnglandG, unmarried.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 18 January 1883, at under £100,000.1
He was educated in 1813 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 87th Foot.1 He fought in the First Burma War between 1825 and 1826.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Berwick of Attingham, co. Shropshire [G.B., 1784] on 12 April 1861.1
